Karlan Service, Inc. was incorporated by Karl and Ann Mock. The intentions of this corporation were to service all types of photographic equipment and silver recovery from photographic film and solutions. Karl has two United States patents and one Canadian patent for silver and other precious metal recovery equipment.

Karlan Service is a licensed treatment, storage and disposal facility for precious metal recovery.

We have obtained silver bearing photographic solution hauling permits from New Jersey and New York.

In June of 1994, Karlan Service, Inc. moved from a 2,400 square foot building in River Edge, New Jersey to its current 11,700 square foot building in Paterson, New Jersey.
